HISTORY OF OUR SCHOOL
Southbridge Christian Academy began providing quality Christian education when it first opened its doors during the 1984-1985 academic year. Pastor and Mrs. Donald Maguire, then pastors of Full Gospel Center, founded Southbridge Christian Academy with the intent of imnparting Biblical values into the complete education of the child. The priorities upon which they focused were the child's spirit, character, and academics. Since that time, Southbridge Christian Academy has continued in that tradition of quality Christian educaiton.
Until 1988, the church and academy utilized two different temporary facilities until they were finally able to inhabit their property at 26 Ellis Road. Since that time Southbridge Christian Academy has remained faithful to its purpose and priorities.
In 1994, Pastor and Mrs. Michael Rondeau assumed the pastorate of Full Gospel Center and administrative responsibilities of Southbridge Christian Academy. Southbridge Christian Academy has enjoyed many improvements and a continuation of quality Christian education under their administration.
In 2000, Principal Adam Rondeau began to work at SCA. Principal Rondeau is a 1997 graduate of SCA . He returned after earning his B.A. in Christian Education and has gone on to earn a M.A.Th. from Liberty University. His determined work ethic and creativity has brought a quality learning experience that is both challenging and fun.
Southbridgde Christian Academy will continue to provide the quality Christian education that it has in the past and looks forward to exapnding into new opportunities in the future.
